Greenhouse Worker

Healthy plant growth starts with your commitment. As a Greenhouse Worker, you work daily in the greenhouse and make sure everything stays clean, healthy and on schedule. You have experience in horticulture and understand the importance of attention to detail. Together with a small team, you manage part of the greenhouse. You work independently, but also support your colleagues when needed.

What will you do?

• You tie, turn and prune plants correctly
  
• You work with codes and keep records up to date
  
• You spot growth problems or plant diseases and take action immediately
  
• You take care of crops such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants and gherkins
  
• You work both independently and as part of a close team
  

You have at least 1 year of experience in horticulture, floriculture or working with crops, and you are familiar with daily greenhouse activities.
You work from Monday to Friday in day shift, usually from 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Working hours may vary depending on the season. The job is physical: you lift crates up to around 8 kilos, stand for long periods and sometimes work at height.

• You have at least 1 year of experience in horticulture, preferably with tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants or gherkins
• You have your own transport to travel independently to the work location
• You speak and write Dutch well
• You work accurately and focus on quality, with good understanding of numbers
• You work independently and stay calm, but you are also proactive and willing to work hard
